VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: ARISE NEEDS CATECHISTS

The ARISE (Association for Religious Instruction, Special Education) program has started with an enrollment of 28 students and 21 catechists!

We have a waiting list of seven boys with special needs that are in need of 1:1 catechists.  The students will be working on their Reconciliation and First Communion. The classes are held on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm at St. Gregory the Great School (60th and Oklahoma). The first half hour is the 1:1 lessons in the classroom and the second half  hour is the Gathering Prayer Service in the church. Orientation and materials are provided. This is a wonderful opportunity for YOU to make a difference in a child’s life!
