What Stewardship means to your fellow parishioners:
Nathan Kolbe:
Fr. Paul's letter:
In the past couple months, it has been exciting to resume some of our activities that have been on hold since the pandemic, such as an offertory procession and the ministry of acolytes. However, all through the pandemic, most of our ministries, especially those that serve others, like Health Ministry and Justice and Peace, continued functioning, as did parish councils and commissions. Thank God for Zoom!
How are we, the members of St. Pius X, spreading the faith and bringing the word of God to others in our parish, community and the world? Here are a few examples:
Celebrating Mass and the sacraments
Faith formation, for children and adults
Inviting our friends, family and neighbors to Mass and other parish events
Posting homilies and reflections online
Supporting our children at Wauwatosa Catholic School
Donating to local organizations to help those most in need
Raising money to build wells across the world in Tanzania
Supporting our sister parish in Guatemala
As you can see by this list and in the following report, your gifts do so much good for our community and the world. You truly carry out Blessed Francis Jordan’s vision of spreading the Catholic faith and I ask you to please continue doing so.
We hope we can count on you again, as we start this year’s stewardship campaign. Please prayerfully consider increasing your pledge amount, but know that we are grateful for any gift you are able to provide.
