We have a wonderful and profoundly blessed relationship with Mater Salvatoris (Mother of the Savior) in Nakapanya, Tanzania, our sister parish since 2023.

*Outstation: In poorer countries where there are no paved roads, no public transportation, and few cars, parishes consist of a main church and numerous outstations. The priest travels periodically to these small communities to celebrate the sacraments and religious instructions are held there. Our sister parish has 10 outstations that are anywhere from a half hour to two hours away. These outstations can be as simple as four tree columns and a roof to a brick/block structure, while some have no shelter at all.
