St. Pius X Parish Community is in need of your help and support. While they have served us well, after over 15 years of use our hymnals are showing their age. That and the fact that much new music has been writt en in the last 22 years (the copyright date on our current hymnals is 1994), has led our Liturgy Commission to the decision that we replace our current hymnals with the Gather 3 Hymnal. We need 300 hymnals for our parish. Our target date for raising the funds and purchasing the hymnals is November 1, 2016. Each hymnal is valued at approximately $20, and you can donate as many hymnals as you wish. For each hymnal you donate a bookplate will be placed on the inside cover indicating the intention for the donation. The bookplate can be inscribed as a gift from you, or as a gift from you in memory of or in honor of a loved one. (In this case you may choose whether or not to have your name included as the giver or remain anonymous). Your generosity and commitment to St Pius X Parish Community is vital to our success and anything you can give toward the purchase of our new hymnals will be greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate toward the purchase of our hymnals please contact the Parish Office. Checks should be made out to St. Pius X Parish. If you have one, please include your parish stewardship envelope number on the check or form so we can include your donation on your year-end statement. If you donate toward more than one hymnal, you may do separate dedications for each or have them all dedicated the same way. Donations can be dropped in the regular collection at any weekend liturgy or they can be turned in to the Parish Office.
