Moving Beyond the 30 Day 1% Challenge -- Living the Habit

This week we completed our first 30 days of prayer with scripture. Congratulations!

You’re establishing a habit of intentional prayer in your life and you’ve begun the journey of deepening your relationship with Jesus Christ. Don’t stop—keep it going! Ask Jesus to show you where he’d like to take you next and make a personal plan for continuing to grow in prayer with scripture. Here are a few ideas:

• Read and pray with the Sunday’s readings for each day. They can be found by putting “USCCB readings” in your browser.
• Repeat the 1% Challenge and invite friends to join you—God speaks to us in new ways every time we read scripture.
• Choose a Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) and work your way through it.

But one way or another, keep up the habit! It will reap immeasurable benefits!
