An Update from Terese - Friday, July 17th

Fr. Paul is back home, doing well and is grateful for your prayers and well wishes. 

On my drive home from work I listen to the “The Catholic Guy Show” on Sirius XM.  On yesterday’s show, the co-host, Mark Hart (you may recognize him from The 99 Experience program we started before the pandemic), said something that stuck with me and I wanted to share it with you:

“The Church would look very different if we Christians were as repulsed by our own sins as deeply and quickly as we are repulsed with the since of others.” 

This made me stop (not literally as I was still driving) and think about how we judge others yet find excuses for our own sins.  I invite you to take some time today to reflect on this quote.
