Today we are entering Laudato Si week, through which our bishops urge us to be mindful of the environment as a gift from God to be used wisely. I thank our Justice and Peace Commission, which has been giving us good resources to reflect on and activities (like the river cleanup) in which we can participate.
Please join us as we celebrate the 6th Sunday of Easter. The Mass will be on our website and Facebook at 5:00 pm today.
Confessions will be heard today from 4:00 to 4:30 pm, safe distancing being observed.
And now for the “Gee, Thanks, Mom” Mother’s quote of the day. This last one is courtesy of my mother, Pauline Portland, who used it, always with love and humor, to make sure all her boys didn’t get too full of themselves: “Even a clock that doesn’t work is right twice a day.”
God bless.
