An Update from Fr. Paul - April 4

I hope this finds you well and being safe. Tomorrow the Disciple Maker Index closes. If you have not yet filled it out, please go to this link and do it. I would greatly appreciate it. It is for every parishioner 18 years or older. If you have a paper copy, it can be placed in the mailbox in front of the parish office.

I will hear confessions today from 4:00 to 4:30. Social distancing norms will be observed. There will be no confessions on Holy Saturday. We have chosen not to open the church for prayer in support of the governor’s wish that we stay at home as much as possible. One alternative is to designate a quiet corner of your house for prayer. The Lord is with us wherever we are and communication happens when we quiet down and converse with God.

Under one of the April 3rd updates, you can find suggestions by Sr. Karlyn Cauley, SDS, on how to help children enter into the spirit of Holy Week. I thank her for sharing these with us.

The Palm Sunday Mass will be online by 5:15 pm today. I wish you a blessed Holy Week and invite you to make it as reflective as possible.
