Reflections on Sunday Scriptures

Description
The Word of God can have a powerful impact on anyone's life. Sometimes the rigor of daily life pulls us away from reflecting on what the Gospel is telling us. All are invited to come together to reflect on the readings for the upcoming Sunday's Mass, to join in prayer, and to share our Catholic faith.
Schedule
Every Friday from 8:35 to 9:05 am (following Friday morning Mass). There is no commitment to attend every session.
Location
​Francis Jordan Room, next to the parish office.
Registration and Cost
Registration is not required and there is no cost to attend. Just come when you're ready to dive in to Scripture! 

St. Pius X Parish Seniors' Club

Description
Our Seniors' Club is a fun, active social group for those aged 50 and over. All are welcome—you don't need to be a member of St. Pius X Parish to attend! Activities include things like tribute artists, celebrity impersonators, speakers from local organizations, bingo, a Halloween costume party, Christmas caroling, and more! ​Events include lunch and door prizes!
Schedule
​Events are typically held on the third Tuesday every month, except during the summer. A special Seniors' Club Mass is typically held at 10:00 am with the luncheon starting afterward.

​Francis Jordan Room, next to the parish office.
​Registration and Cost
Registration is required—cost is typically between $8-12 per person. All are welcome—you don't need to be a St. Pius X Parish member to attend any of the events.

​Information for individual events will be added to the website once scheduled. There are also sign-up sheets in the back of the church for upcoming events, except during the summer.

How You Can Join

Who Can Attend
Anyone can attend! You don't need to be a student or a St. Pius X Parish member.
Location
St. Pius X / Kingdom Prep Academy gymnasium.
Concessions
Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase, as well as homemade pizza by the slice or by the whole pizza. There is cafeteria seating available.
​Admission
  • $6 per person. Receive a $1 discount for bringing your own skates. 
  • Cash is preferred. Correct change is appreciated. 
  • Venmo is also accepted. Send payment to @StSebastian-Congregation with [Event Date] Skate Night in the subject line (e.g., 9/20/25 Skate Night).

Skate Night Policies

Skate Schedule
​The rink is reserved for younger skaters before opening up for all to join in on the fun.
  • 6:00 - 6:45 pm:  Kindergarten through 2nd grade only.
  • 6:45 - 8:30 pm:  Open to all ages.
​Waiver Forms
Every person skating must have a waiver form on file before entering the rink. Printed waiver forms will be available at the event.
Chaperones
​An adult chaperone must accompany anyone under the age of 18. No "drop off and pick up".
Restrictions
No in-line, Skechers, or Heelys are permitted.
