Special Interest Groups
St. Pius X Parish offers many wonderful opportunities to volunteer! These services not only help the parish, but the community as well. Please consider donating your time to one or more of these opportunities.
Building & Grounds Committee
This committee concerns itself with the physical appearance and maintenance of all parish facilities and plant equipment. The committee members identify needs and make recommendations to the Finance Council. Throughout the year, there are also opportunities to assist on various routine projects from basic cleanup to projects where skilled labor (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) is helpful.

|
Help to beautify our parish grounds by cleaning up in spring and fall, and planting and maintaining in the summer.

Community Life Commission
The Community Life Commission (CLC) acts as the social arm of St. Pius X Parish with the mission to form lasting relationships in our community. Events sponsored by the CLC build community spirit by bringing all parish members together for social interaction and fun.

Health Ministry
Health Ministry serves the parish by offering education related to our mind, body, and spirit. Connections are made to community resources. We reach out to parishioners who are in the hospital, sick, homebound, or who have lost a family member with cards and calls. Meetings are held once a month.
Justice & Peace Commission
The Justice and Peace Commission responds to the Gospel message, moving beyond our parish family to the larger world.

Adopt-a-River Program (spring and fall)

Eras Senior Network
|
Regularly call or visit elderly people in the area, providing needed transportation and minimal household assistance.

Stewardship Commission
The Stewardship Commission is responsible for promoting awareness and understanding of stewardship as a way of life and managing programs focused on the stewardship of time, talent and treasure.
