We look forward to seeing you at Mass!
Here is what you need to know:

Guidelines
  • Masks are required per state mandate.  Please bring your own from home, otherwise we will have a few available.
  • An agreement between Wisconsin bishops and the governor’s office says we can have at most 25% occupancy, but with social distancing directives being followed.
  • To read Fr. Paul’s letter on returning to Mass here at St. Pius X, click here.

Mass Times
  • Registration is no longer required.
  • We will have our 3 regular weekend Masses at 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 8:00 am and 10:30 am on Sunday and our weekday Masses are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:00 am.
  • The obligation to attend Sunday Mass has resumed.
    • According to Archbishop Listecki, there are specific circumstances that would still excuse a person from the obligation:
      • The impossibility to attend Mass
      • If a person is ill
      • If a person is at risk because of age, underlying medical conditions or a compromised immune system
      • If a person is caring for a sick person, even if they are not sick, they would be excused from the obligation out of charity
    • Read his full letter here.
What to Expect When You Arrive to Weekend Masses
You will be welcomed and by a hospitality minister. Please follow social distancing as you wait.
At the next station you will be handed a worship aid and directed to the hospitality minister who will seat you.
After you have been seated by the hospitality minister, please follow all instructions and social distancing during Mass.

Weekday Masses
Weekday Masses have a slightly different setup:
  • Masses will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Registration is not required.
  • Masses will be held in the main church.
  • Please follow social distancing.
  • The church will be opened at 7:45 am.
  • Attendees will be escorted to a seat and will use the same seat for the week (to cut down on cleaning).

Sanitizing the Church
  • After each Mass the pews, bathroom and surfaces will be disinfected.
  • All song books have been removed from church.  One-time use worship aids will be handed out.   You must either take them home with you or dispose of them in the marked container in the back of church.
  • The envelopes have been removed from the pews.  There are a few available in the back of church by the donation box.
  • Please bring your own small bottle of hand sanitizer, if you have one. We will have some sanitizer available.
  • Only enter the church through the main center doors.  They will be propped open.  When exiting, the side doors may be used as well, and they will be propped open at that time.

Seating Arrangements
  • Families will be seated in the outer sections of pews, while individuals or parties of 2 will be seated on the outer edges of the pews in the center sections.
  • Every third pew will be used and the remaining pews will be roped off.
  • View the seating arrangement here.
  • Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early as these measures will take time.
  • When you arrive at Mass, you will be greeted by a Hospitality Minister who will check you in and direct you to where you will sit. Pews will be filled from the front of church to the back.  Once Mass has ended, please remain in your pew until dismissed by the Hospitality Minister.

Holy Communion
  • Communion will be the Body of Christ only.
  • There will be only one Eucharistic Minister.  You will be directed to go up for Communion by a Hospitality Minister.  Please follow the blue lines on the floor for where to stand.
  • If the Eucharistic Minister accidentally touches someone’s hand, he or she will stop, sanitize their hands, and then continue distributing.

Reconciliation
  • Available Saturdays from 4:00 – 4:30 pm in the Reconciliation room in the Chapel.

Bulletins
  • Bulletins are available in church or online.

Food Pantry and Clothing Donations
  •  Food pantries are only accepting cash donations at this time.  Please don’t bring any food or clothing with you to church.
