St. Pius X Parish and Christ King Parish work in tandem to deliver enriching faith formation opportunities for children and teens, starting with our youngest faithful to cultivate their knowledge and love for the Catholic faith.
Our program includes faith formation education for children, middle schoolers, and high schoolers, as well as a compassionate offering for children in special education. In addition to the following regularly scheduled programs, additional formation programs and activities occur throughout the year. |

Special Religious Development (SPRED) is a small faith community at Christ King Parish for children or adults with developmental or cognitive challenges. The SPRED program is designed to meet their spiritual needs through special one on one relationships with catechists and small group gatherings. It provides a framework via which they are integrated more fully into the mainstream of parish life, including faith formation, celebrating the sacraments and participating in the Mass.
Currently, children between the ages of 6-10 with developmental or cognitive challenges can participate in our SPRED program at Christ King. For more information on joining , or to inquire about SPRED groups for older children and adults, please visit spredmilwaukee.org. |
Safeguarding Our Children
