Card Sunday 2025
Card Sunday is an Advent tradition at St. Pius Х. Parishioners send Christmas cards to our homebound parishioners. Card Sunday is always the first Sunday of Advent, which this year is November 29th-30th.
This Year's Card Sunday Recipients
lease bring your completed cards to church that weekend and deposit them in the baskets provided in the front of church. In addition to regular Christmas cards from Card Sunday, we also have templates for cards that can be colored or decorated by either children or adults. These will be available in the back of church the weekend of November 29th-30th in a designated basket at the back of church. These should be completed and returned to the basket or the parish office by December 16th.
All Card Sunday greetings will be delivered along with Christmas plants to our homebound parishioners. This year, the Christmas cards and the plants will be available for delivery on the weekend of December 20th-21st. They will be located in the back of church. If you know any of our homebound parishioners personally, or simply want to help deliver a plant with Christmas greetings, please feel free to do so. The Health Ministry team will deliver the remaining plants and cards.
This endeavor is highly appreciated by the recipients, and we thank you in advance for your participation in this ministry.
