Liturgy Commission

Members of our Liturgy Commission assist the priest in overseeing the worship of our parish community. Representatives from the lectors, Eucharistic ministers, ministers of hospitality, environment subcommittee, music groups and other interested parishioners plan the major season of the church year and then implement their plans.

Art and Environment

The art and environment in the church is overseen by the Environment Committeee which is a subcommittee of the Liturgy Commission. Creating an environment conducive to worship is the aim of the artists and craft persons of this committee.

If you are an artist or craft person, one who likes to sew, has a gift for flower arranging or just an interested person willing to donate your time and talent, your help would be appreciated.

Because decorating for Christmas and Easter require extra help, we have a special need for a group of volunteers to lend their talents on an "as needed" basis.

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers are privileged to distribute consecrated bread and wine  at our liturgies. A training workshop is provided for those interested in being part of this ministry. Ministers serve as needed at the liturgy which they attend.

Ministers of Care

Our Ministers of Care  are Eucharistic Ministers who distribute communion and visit the sick and homebound of our parish. They also coordinate the distribution of Christmas Cards from our parish's Card Sunday collection during Advent and the Spring Plant distribution during the Easter Season. Those with an interest in serving the sick and elderly on a regular basis are encourage to participate. A training session is required.
