MISSION STATEMENT
We the members of St. Pius X Catholic Community have been companioned in our journey by the Salvatorians, an international Apostolic Community of men and women, lay religious, and clergy.
Our understanding of our mission has been greatly influenced by the Salvatorian men and women who have lived and served among us.
The mission of St. Pius X Catholic Comminuity is to nurture, deepen, celebrate and live out our identity as an Apostolic Community, a people who are called, gifted, and sent by our God.
Called: By our Baptism into Christ to proclaim the good news of Jesus by receiving the word of God with delight and allowing it to take deep root in us, transforming us individually and as a community into the unique images of God we have been created to become.
Gifted: By God's Holy Spirit with many talents, abilities and resources, both as individuals and as a community, which we are to discover, develop and share in generous self-giving love both within and beyond our community.
Sent: By our God to be apostles of Jesus in our time and place; to be light to Wauwatosa. To be salt for the Milwaukee area; to be leaven in the society and culture in which we live and work; to be makers of peace and creators of justice in our world; to stir into flames the gifts we have received until we become a transforming fire that renews the face of the earth.
