Our K5 students have been study- ing how rules and laws persuade others’ behavior. They started in their classroom where they devel- oped their classroom “Essential Agreement.” As their assessment they were asked to think of a rule or law for their school, classroom or home. They presented and explained why this rule is necessary and purposeful.
WCS 6th graders are on the Prowl for a Hot Shot! The stu- dents are exploring the world through the lens of a famous photographer in 6th grade Design Class. Ansel Adams, Robert Capa, Annie Liebovitz and several others are the topic for our oral presentations. As we grow comfortable with photography skills in the areas of Landscape, Action, Portrait and the ever popular Selfie, we expand our future by exploring our past.
